6/21/2022 - Albany, New York - In a recent video posted to IPWHF Social Media, Class of 2021 Inaugural Inductee and legendary wrestler Terry Funk graciously accepted his International Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame ring from his dear friend, Manny "Raging Bull" Fernandez.
"The Funker" was inducted to the IPWHF as part of the inaugural class in August 2021, but due to Terry's health and at the advice of his doctors, Terry did not make the long trip to Albany to formally accept his ring. We at "The Hall" fully supported that decision and sincerely thank the medical professionals involved for keeping Terry's health as their primary concern.
The video, which is currently posted to IPWHF social media, shows Manny Fernandez personally delivering the Hall of Fame ring to his longtime friend at Terry's home in Amarillo, TX. The two legends stand side-by-side as Terry speaks about the importance of the award and what it means to him.

The IPWHF will be located on the second floor of the MVP Arena in Downtown Albany, directly across from the main offices of the Albany FireWolves of the National Lacrosse League, with the grand opening scheduled for Induction Weekend 2022.
The MVP Arena is home to the Siena Saints (NCAA), Albany FireWolves (NLL) and the 2021 NAL Champion Albany Empire (NAL) along with numerous concert events and live professional wrestling events throughout the year.
